O-Day
Twenty-three months to write, six months to re-write, edit, re-edit, proof, re-proof, design, layout, and establish specs. And now, it’s a book! I received the press proof last week and approved it, and as of a few minutes ago, The Promised Land – a novel of Cape Breton, is on its way to the press. We should have copies in hand before the end of the month.
Now we move on to planning launches, promotion and publicity, and telling the world that their bookshelves would look better with this little unit on them. There are plenty of thank-you’s to pass around, and I’ll get to that soon. In the meantime, I have some fish to fry.
And what is O-Day, you ask? Order Day.
