And we’re off!

Friday night, April 26th, was the occasion of the “Friends & Family” launch in North River Bridge, sponsored by the good folks at the Cabot Trail Writers’ Festival.  About forty people attended, and a good time was had by me. And by some of them, as well.

We read a few bits from the book, played some tunes, talked a bit about the writing of The Promised Land, and then everyone stood around afterwards, sipping tea and coffee, nibbling on oatcakes, and gabbing the way friends and neighbours do when they get together.
