On February 22, Douglas Arthur Brown and I did an event at the Cape Breton Fudge Company in Sydney. The event was organized to give book clubs who had read either Seeds, Douglas’ latest novel, or The Promised Land, an opportunity to hear us read and to ask questions about the books. Friend Mona Anderson kindly acted at emcee and moderator. As you can see from the photos, it wasn’t all loftily literary. The event was filmed, so we should have some video here and on the Boularderie Island Press websites before the snow goes away. Thanks to Rosemary for the still photos
