The word is out

Just got the word a few minutes ago that The Promised Land – a novel of Cape Breton, has made the shortlist for the 2014 Stephen Leacock Medal for Humour. Five titles were chosen out of a field of eighty entries. The winner will be announced at a luncheon on the Leacock estate in Orillia on April 24th.

Can you say Yippee!
