Leacock Medal Award Ceremony, Orillia, June 7, 2014

Since the shortlist announcement in March it has been a dizzying toboggan ride down the mountain. I went to Orillia for the announcement of the winner (me!) on April 24th, then back again to attend all the attendant events on the weekend of June 6, 7, and 8, followed by book signings in Toronto on the 9th and 10th. The two-day drive home was a welcome opportunity to do at least a bit of processing of all the input.

Here are some pictures from the awards banquet at the Geneva Park Convention Centre on Lake Couchiching, June 7th.
